A Journey Through Time

These tales reflect the memories of five youngsters growing up in an unusual family in the 1930’s to the 1970’s. Each tale mirrors everyday life as witnessed by each child from the perspective of his or her given age. Most of the time, every Notnyob felt special and loved.

Meet the Authors

Dolly

Teena Gagne

Known in her youth and in “The Tales…” as Dolly, Teena now resides in California and still enjoys caregiving. She stays busy with church-related activities, and spending time with her favorite in all the world sister. In Michigan, both of her grown children and grandchildren alike approve of her becoming a California Girl.

Slyvia

Sylvia McGuire

Always called Slyvia by the older brothers, Sylvia also enjoys the California lifestyle. A retired Real Estate Broker, and 17 year prior escrow officer, she is proud of her 4 grown children, multiple grandchildren, and a sprinkling of greats. Co-writing “Tales…” with her favoritest sister is truly a dream come true!
